About The Paul Center

The Paul Center For Learning and Recreation is a small but essential non-profit located in Chelmsford, supporting individuals with disabilities and their families from communities across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The mission of The Paul Center is to help participants reach their maximum potential, through participation in our educational, social, and recreational programs on our 16 acre campus. Our largest program, the Extended School Year program (ESY) is a 6 week summer program that addresses academics, as directed through the Individualized Educational Plan, as well as Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Emotional/Behavioral support. In addition, students participate in swimming, nature walks, music, arts and crafts and indoor/outdoor games in a camp-like atmosphere. We also have Saturday and school vacation programs running throughout the school year. The Paul Center is dedicated to providing quality services that support both students and their families. We have never turned a family away due to inability to pay and our fundraising endeavors are key in helping individuals learn, grow and develop lifelong friendships.
